SHELL is a dimmable floor lamp born from a desire for utmost simplicity. A single sheet, carefully crafted into form.

Each sheet is shaped by hand and varies slightly in expression. Incredibly simple in appearance, it sculpts light in a subtle, refined way.

The natural pigmentation of our lamps comes from the seashells themselves. Seashells are collected from restaurants, ground, and mixed with a biopolymer for 3D printing. Each material creates a distinct color variation and light quality.

Mussel sits between Scallop and Oyster in tone. It creates the warmest light with a tanned hue, adding a sense of coziness.

Light concept

The curved layering of SHELL softens and disperses light, producing a warm, ambient atmosphere with a subtle sense of depth. The result is a calm presence that gently fills the space.

Light source

LED bulbs only. The material requires low-heat lighting. Includes a warm white LED bulb: 7W, 806 lumens, 2700K color temperature.

You can switch to a dimmable bulb to adjust the brightness and move between softer and brighter light as needed.

Body

The lamp’s body is 3D-printed with a blend of biopolymer and reclaimed mussel, oyster, or scallop shells making it biodegradable in industrial composting. We don't use chemical additives that inhibit compostability.

Electrical components

The lamp holder, cable, switch, and plug are manufactured using other materials to meet the highest safety standards. The electrical components can be recycled according to local e-waste regulations.
