RUSSO BETAK is a design duo consisting of Stefannia Russo and Søren Betak.
We believe our role as designers is to adapt to socio-environmental shifts by adopting emerging technologies, with our practice being the natural result of this process. This forms the core of what we do, propelling us toward a vision where new practices are woven into the fabric of life. Through digital fabrication, we merge design, robotics, and material research to push the limits of what's possible.
Stefannia Russo, from Brazil, holds a double bachelor's degree in Design and Communications from UNI, United States, and a master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from Roskilde University, Denmark. With over a decade of experience, Stefannia has worked for Designit, Microsoft, SPACE10, and currently, she also holds the role of Social Impact Lead at IKEA Social Entrepreneurship.
Søren Betak, from Denmark, is a furniture designer and sculptor with experience in computer-aided manufacturing. He earned his bachelor's degree in Furniture Design from the Royal Danish Academy, followed by a master's degree in Sculpture from the University of Lisbon in Portugal.
